Ever since the television studios shut down due to COVID-19, fans of many shows have had to be patient while waiting for their favorites shows to return to the screen. Finally, some fan favorites are back!
Here's just a few of your favorite shows returning to television this week, plus an all new comedy you won't want to miss...
The Good Doctor (ABC)

The Good Doctor on ABC premiers the next season tonight at 10/9c. The initial episode will feature a storyline centered on the pandemic, just as Doctor Shaun Murphy would be dealing with it. The show's creators reassured the pandemic storyline will be brief in order to provide viewers an escape back into the world as we knew it before the Coronavirus.
Young Sheldon (CBS)

Young Sheldon is making his come back this Thursday as he finally graduates High School. Production for the previous season had to be altered due to the global shutdown, so now for this season viewers will finally get to see the kid genius go off to college.
B Positive (CBS)
B Positive is an all new sitcom coming to CBS this Thursday. The show stars Thomas Middleditch who you may recognize as the spokesperson for Verizon, and Annaleigh Ashford who is a Broadway veteran. Chuck Lorre, creator of The Big Bang Theory, is bringing the new show to life which revolves around a man and his unlikely kidney donor.

Mom on CBS is another show returning but this time without a key player. Actress, Anna Faris made the decision to not return this season which then required the show to switch up some storylines.
We talked to her co-star, Beth Hall who said Faris was greatly missed.
"Of course we miss working with her, she was always wonderful and great. The writers are wonderful and they've figured out how to make her absence work and make it go on pretty seamlessly."
The show was able to return to production a while back with strict social distancing guidelines.
