The Masked Singer is a singing competition show in which contestants face off against each other wearing one-of-a-kind costumes with masks to hide their identities. Last night, the identities of the last three competitors were revealed and judges, Nicole Scherzinger, Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy and Ken Jeong, could not believe their eyes.
The Reveal
The three costumes featured in this finale were the Sun, Mushroom, and a Crocodile. The Sun ultimately won the show, and eventually was given the chance to reveal who they are. Leann Rimes shined this season, as the Sun, and took home the Golden Mask Trophy. The Mushroom was revealed to be singer and songwriter Aloe Blacc, and the Crocodile was Nick Carter. Judges were fascinated with the Sun's stellar performances throughout the season and the trophy was extremely well-deserved.
Previous costumes and unmaskings this season included Tori Kelly as the Seahorse, Taylor Dayne as Popcorn, Chloe Kim as Jellyfish, Paul Anka as Broccoli, Lonzo Ball as Whatchamacalit, Elvis Francois as Serpent, Clint Black and Lisa Hartman Black as Snow Owls, Bob Saget as the Squiggly Monster, Wendy Williams as Lips, Mark Sanchez as Baby Alien, Brian Austin Green as Giraffe), Mickey Rourke as Gremli and Busta Rhymes as the Dragon.
