The teaser opens with Peter (Tom Holland) and MJ (Zendaya) discussing the fact that Peter's identity was revealed by Mysterio. The slain villain pinned his death on Peter, despite being killed by drones. Now, Spidey faces backlash both from the public and authorities for his actions.

Looking to change the past, Peter pays a visit to none other than manipulator of the multiverse, Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch). Ultimately, Spidey asked the Doc to change the past and reverse what Mysterio had done. Despite the risks of casting such a powerful spell, Doctor Strange follows through.

"The entire world is about to forget that Peter Parker is Spider-man," says Doctor Strange.

Just like that, the world forgets that Peter Parker is the infamous Spider-Man. The only problem? The spell raises rifts in the little known about multiverse. Remember Williem Dafoe's Green Goblin? He's back. What about Alfred Molina's Otto Octavius? He's back, too.
