Hear from the new king of Bayside about the #SavedByTheBell reboot

Saved By The Bell, the hit '90s sitcom, is not just getting a reunion but a reboot with a whole new cast of high school kids. The beloved original cast is back and infiltrating Bayside High again.

Zack Morris is truly the king of Bayside and all of California as he is now the governor of California. "It" couple Zack and Kelly are still going strong and they now have a son, Mac Morris, attending Bayside High. Our senior correspondent and Endless Hustle Podcast host Arthur Kade sat down with Mitchell Hoog who is playing Mac in the reboot.

Mitchell Hoog shared:

"I am the king of Bayside. The Morris name has to live on; I completely try to live up to the legacy. I think that always nags at me a little bit that my dad had some really good pranks."

Mac is the spiting image of his dad, Zack Morris, and will have girls fangirling over him in no time.

Returning to reprise their roles are Mark-Paul Gosselaar (Zack Morris), Tiffani-Amber Thiessen (Kelly Kapowski), Elizabeth Berkley (Jessie Spano), Mario Lopez (A.C. Slater) and Lark Voorhies (Lisa Turtle). Berkley and Lopez are now working at Bayside High. Slater could not give up his jock status and has become the head jock as coach and Jessie is a teacher. Jessie also has a son, Jamie Spano, going to Bayside High.

Hoog hopes that the nostalgia of seeing Bayside High and our favorite characters again will be everyone a little bit of comfort right now.

Don't be tardy because class is back in session at Bayside High starting November 25th. Watch the new Saved By The Bell on Peacock.
