HBO Max is bringing Julia Child's story to life!

The new series Julia explores Child's rise to fame, and the streaming platform has released the first official trailer!

Julia is said to explore "a pivotal time in American history—the emergence of public television as a new social institution, feminism and the women's movement, the nature of celebrity and America's cultural evolution. At its heart, the series is a portrait of a loving marriage with a shifting power dynamic."

Actress Sarah Lancashire plays Child, acting alongside David Hyde Pierce, who plays her husband, Paul Childs.
