Peggy Zabakolas is a real estate expert, known for starring in the Netflix show 'Million Dollar Beach House'. She is now bringing her expertise to Discovery+ with the new series 'Selling the Hamptons'.

In an interview with Us Weekly Zabakolas explained that she “wanted to keep on expanding, growing and building my brand.” while 'Million Dollar Beach House' is “currently on a pause.” The Netflix show was rated in the top 10 shortly after its release. There is currently only one season of the show which left many questions regarding one of Zabakolas properties. According to Us Weekly, Zabakolas did receive the “$35 million stunner in Southampton.” and the property is said to be featured in her new series.

Along with seeing the beautiful properties, viewers will see some “personal drama and work drama” on the show, according to Us Weekly. Zabakolas said:

“You always need a little bit of drama."

Zabakolas also explained in her interview with Us Weekly, the growth that she has seen since filming 'Million Dollar Beach House'.

"Million Dollar Beach House was filmed almost three years ago and aired a year ago. So, I grew exponentially in three years. So my focus — whether it’s on personal or work drama — has shifted a little bit."

Zabakolas did say there would be a bit of drama on the show but it may not necessarily involve her. She also explained how she shares a lot of her personal life with fans already through her Instagram. With this being said, the show is more of a strategy to further her real estate career rather than a reality TV career.

Real estate reality TV shows have been increasingly popular, especially with 'Selling Sunset' and now 'Selling Tampa' on Netflix. Zabakolas received some questions about how this show may be different from those, she responded:

"If you’re going to create a real estate show everyone is going to compare it to whatever show is popular at the time. Selling Sunset has their beautiful homes and shows their drama, whether it’s work or personal. And this one is just different. We are just all into real estate. You’re viewing it through a different eye."
