LGBTQ Artist VINCINT to Perform at Washashore Festival in Provincetown

VINCENT WASHASHORE

With music festivals making their comebacks nationwide, Provincetown, MA is no exception to the fun. This October 8th-10th, the LGBTQ community is being celebrated in P-Town with tons of exciting headliners from for the first ever Washashore Festival, including rising artist VINCINT.

Provincetown is truly embracing LGBTQ history month by hosting an all-star line-up of entirely queer artists. In addition to VINCINT, some other notable names are Ty Herndon, The Dragon Sisters, Siena Liggins, and Marielle Kraft.

Provincetown Brewing Co. is sponsoring the event, so tons of beer and great food is guaranteed all weekend. They're also introducing 'draftivism' to the festival, mixing their love for beer with their passion for social change.

Popular pizza joint Spiritus will also be catering the weekend with endless pizza slices. Even Spiritus is representative of the queer history of P-Town, with the Washashore website providing a more detailed background of the restaurant's past: https://www.provincetownbrewingco.com/washashore

Not only is the three-day festival going to be packed with music, drinks, and food--drag comedy is going to be a weekend highlight as well. And we of course can't forget to mention the endless partying that will keep the celebration amped up all festival long.

For decades, Provincetown has served as a renowned destination for LGBTQ members, and Washashore is the perfect event to gather such a warm, fun-loving, and embracing community.

Even more exciting is that queer icon VINCINT will be taking the stage on Sunday.

VINCINT launched his singing and songwriting career on the reality singing show The Four. Since then, VINCINT has gained an immense amount of traction as an artist. Billboard praised VINCINT as being "a legend in the making" and PAPER Magazine has even titled him as one of "our nation's greatest vocalists".

Most recently, VINCINT has released a song for season five of the beloved hit show Queer Eye called "Be Me". Just based off of his successed from this year alone, VINCINT is completely reshaping the presence and domination of queer artists in the music industry.

Other hit songs from VINCINT include "Higher", "Getaway", and "Creep" from his performance on The Four. Don't miss out on VINCINT's performance at the Washashore Music and Arts Festival on October 10th. Tickets can be purchased on eventbrite.com.
