Styles Approached His Character With a Sense of Humanity
Olivia Wilde took to social media to praise the cast and crew of her new psychological thriller Don't Worry Darling. Amongst the complimenting series of posts was one written to none other than Grammy nominated singer-songwriter Harry Styles.
Styles plays Jack in the female-led film, a feat Wilde writes as "no joke." Wilde writes,
"No joke, it is harrrrrd to find actors who recognize why it might be worth it to allow a woman to hold the spotlight."
Wilde begins to commend Styles' attitude toward the production stating,
"Not only did he relish the opportunity to allow for the brilliant @florencepugh to hold center stage as our "Alice", but he infused every scene with a nuanced sense of humanity."
Rumors of the Two Dating
Rumors that the two may be dating were sparked after Styles and Wilde were seen out together on numerous occasions, holding hands and hugging. While many firmly believe in the two's romance, nothing has been officially confirmed.
Most recently, the Independent Spirit Award winning director was spotted moving her belongings from ex-fiancé Jason Sudeikis' house to the former One Direction member's place.
Directed by Olivia Wilde, starring Florence Pugh, Harry Styles, Chris Pine, and Dakota Johnson, Don't Worry Darling is set to possibly premiere some time at the end of 2021.
