Machine Gun Kelly Drops New 'papercuts' Music Video

Machine Gun Kelly and Travis Barker bring the heat in their new collaboration papercuts

The Blonde Don is back and better than ever.

Rapper turned pop punk artist Machine Gun Kelly just dropped a huge new music video. The video is for the song "papercuts" which is the lead single of Kelly's new upcoming album, Born with Horns. Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, who is featured in the video, will be collaborating with Kelly on the album. The duo even went the extra mile and got matching tattoos.

This song marks the most recent of the many collaborations between Kelly and Barker. For example, the drummer is all over Kelly's last album, Tickets To My Downfall which was met with critical acclaim. This new song "papercuts" has the same sonic elements as some songs on that tracklist, like "my ex's best friend", "bloody valentine", etc. It would be no surprise if Born With Horns had a similar sound to its predecessor. Watch the "papercuts" video here:

The video, directed by Lyrical Lemonade's Cole Bennett, finds Kelly in a variety of settings. One shot shows him donning a crazy black wig as he sings with his head stuck through a hole in a wall that is being splattered with black paint. Believe it or not, that is not as bizarre as the video gets.

For example, the shot that has Travis Barker in it features Kelly on stilts wearing an oversized suit and playing a comically large guitar. Another shot shows a bald MGK walking through the streets wearing nothing but a pair of bedazzled pants. Given the chaotic nature of the lyrics, the video makes sense. Bennett, who was just nominated for Video Director of the Year at The BET Awards, is very talented when it comes to providing visuals that compliment the sound. "papercuts" is no exception.
