Tune in this Wednesday 8/7c to watch them perform the new track!

Keith Urban is bringing a bit of rock & roll to the Academy of Country Music Awards! Urban will be hosting the 53rd annual ACM Awards which airs this Wednesday at 8/7c. Along with his hosting duties, the singer will be picking up the mic with fellow artist P!nk to debut their new collaboration.

The ACM Awards is a big night in country music. Singers Maren Morris and Thomas Rhett have taken the lead, each receiving five nominations. Keith Urban will be putting in extra work- hosting an awards show that must adapt for socially distanced performances.

The new song is called "One Too Many" and is the first collaboration between the two artists. They will be performing together live from Nashville as a part of the night's event.

Keith teased the performance on Instagram

Already, some fans have criticized the project and the show for not staying true to Keith Urban's country roots. Some users wrote:

"Not a fan of Pink, not a country artist."

And,

"Why does country music need to have a non country music star show up every time on ACM? There are plenty of country stars available to play the show."

Not much has been revealed about the song, other than a small snippet posted on the singer's Instagram story.

The collaboration is just one track expected on Urban's upcoming project, The Speed of Now, Part 1.

The ACM Awards will also feature performances by Luke Bryan, Georgia Florida Line, Tim McGraw and Carrie Underwood so it's safe to say the night will be filled with country. Additionally, Taylor Swift will have her first live performance of a song from her album Folklore. You can tune in to CBS Wednesday to see Keith Urban host and perform his new collaboration "One Too Many"with P!nk.
