Here's Your Valentine's Day Movie Binge List

9048 Big Premiere
The In Between and The Sky is Everywhere are the latest romantic dramas to hit the screen. Covering love, grief, and loss, these films are sure to hit you with all the feels.

Joey King and Kyle Allen are starring in the new romantic drama The In Between. King and Allen play Tessa and Skylar, two teenagers who fall in love. However, their intense romance is short lived after a devastating car accident kills Skylar.

Tessa, with the help of her best friend played by Celeste O' Connor, tries to connect with Skylar from the other side in order to get the answers she needs and the ending to her love story that she deserves.

"One of the beautiful things about this film is that it kind of gives us permission to like really be open to these experiences that like a lot of us have had, but like sometimes they are not received," O' Connor said.

Kyle, one of Hollywood's most in demand young stars at the moment, playing one of the Jets in Steven Spielberg's Oscar nominated West Side Story, and more recently accepting the role of He-Man in Netflix's upcoming Masters of the Universe, hopes the movie helps viewers feel "validated."

"I hope people feel kind of validated in their, in their struggle. A lot of people have experienced tragedies. A lot of people have experienced the loss of a loved one."

The In Between is streaming now on Paramount+.

Another new movie tackling love and loss is The Sky is Everywhere, based on the popular novel by Jandy Nelson.

Grace Kaufman plays Lennie Walker, a 17-year-old musical prodigy struggling to cope with the sudden death of her older sister Bailey. In the midst of her grief, Lennie finds herself trying to navigate two different romantic relationships.

Kaufman believes Lennie's story will relate with many young women and girls.

"A lot of young women, a lot of teenage girls can also see bits and pieces of themselves in Lennie, cause you know its her story and it's, it's so important to have you know these coming of age stories about women."

Kaufman will be accompanied in the film by Emmy award winner Cherry Jones, Jason Segel, Pico Alexander and Jacques Colimon.

Pico Alexander, known for his role romancing Reese Witherspoon in the 2017 film Home Again, will play Toby, one of Lennie's love interests in the movie.

"I really like the heartbreak and the tragedy that Toby's going through. That was appealing to me because I had not really done anything like it before," Alexander said.

The Sky is Everywhere is streaming on Apple TV+ now.
