As 2020 comes to a close, most of us are looking ahead to a better year ahead. President Trump's time in office is wrapping up and a new administration will take the reins, as Joe and Jill Biden prepare for the four years ahead. The couple will give their final television appearance on New Year's Eve in an interview with Ryan Seacrest.
Looking to bring a message of unity, hope, and clarity, the soon-to-be first couple will be joining Seacrest as part of Dick Clark's Rockin' New Year's Eve Celebration.
In a joint statement, Amy Thurlow, president, Dick Clark Productions, and Craig Erwich, president, Hulu Originals and ABC Entertainment, said,
"In a year marked with many challenges, we are honored that President-elect Joe Biden and Dr. Biden will join America's most-watched tradition- 'Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve'—to share an inspiring message as we come together to close out 2020 and look ahead with hope to 2021"
Joining Seacrest on the ABC special will be Billy Porter, Jennifer lopez, Cindi Lauper, Nelly, Miley Cyrus, Megan Thee Stallion, Doja Cat, Machine Gun Kelly, and so much more.
