One of the hottest Hollywood couples called it quits last week. Here's the latest.

Last week, Jason Momoa ad Lisa Bonet announced that they were splitting after 16 years together.

According to PEOPLE, the former couple is moving on, as they would like to "explore other things" following the breakup. However, Momoa and Bonet still care "deeply about each other," a source says.

In their joint statement on Instagram last week, they wrote,

"We have all felt the squeeze and changes of these transformational times. And so~ We share our Family news~ That we are parting ways in marriage. We share this not because we think it's newsworthy ~ But so that~ as we go about our lives we may do so with dignity and honesty."

The Aquaman and Cosby Show stars start met in 2005 and wed in 2017.

In 2018, Bonet told Porter magazine.

"I can't say it was full-on from the moment we saw each other, but we have been together from the day that we met...In that moment, love came and it came big, and he did not run as I think a lot of men do. He basically picked me up and threw me over his shoulder, caveman style!"

Momoa and Bonet have two children together.
