Jane Fonda received the Cecil B. DeMille Award for "outstanding contributions to the world of entertainment", according to the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.
Fonda is also the recipient of eight Golden Globes and 15 nominations.
Other famous recipients include Oprah Winfrey, Meryl Streep, Judy Garland, and Tom Hanks.
Fonda is best known and recognized for her dedication to activism along with a wide breadth of movies and television in her repertoire, such as Barbarella, Barefoot in the Park, Monster-In-Law, and Grace and Frankie.
This award will sit on her shelf alongside her multiple accolades, like her two Oscars and 14 other awards and recognitions.
