It's official! “Euphoria” star Hunter Schafer will be in the upcoming "Hunger Games" prequel film, “The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes.”
Schafer is best known for her character Jules Vaughn on the hit HBO Max series, “Euphoria." She's also a fashion model and LGBTQ+ rights activist.
Schafer will play Tigris Snow, the cousin of a young Coriolanus. Tom Blyth and Rachel Zegler will take the screen as Coriolanus Snow and Lucy Gray respectively.
To date, "The Hunger Games" films include four movies: “The Hunger Games,” “Catching Fire,” “Mockingjay: Part One” and “Mockingjay: Part Two,” all based on the Suzanne Collins novels. Director of the latest three movies, Francis Lawrence, will return to the new prequel film with Nina Jacobson returning as a producer.
In addition to “The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes,” Schafer is starring in “Cuckoo,” a NEON horror film with director Tilman Singer.
“The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes” will premiere in theaters worldwide on November 17, 2023.
