Trevor's show has been off this week. But The Daily Show host still took to social media to share his thoughts on the murder of George Floyd and other recent high profile cases of racism.
The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon
Many tuned in Monday night not just to hear Jimmy's take on the protests, but also to hear his first public comments since 20 year old video resurfaced of Jimmy in blackface. The blackface was for a sketch on Saturday Night Live, in which Jimmy was playing fellow SNL star, Chris Rock. Jimmy began his show by apologizing and insisting he is not a racist. He then interviewed the president of the NAACP and CNN anchor Don Lemon.
A Late Show With Stephen Colbert
Stephen Colbert has never been shy about criticizing the President. That tradition continued, this week, in the context of the protests. In addition to his blistering critique, Stephen also interviewed rapper and activist Killer Mike and veteran and philanthropist Wes Moore.
Jimmy Kimmel Live
The President has targeted Jimmy Kimmel, on twitter, in the past. Now Jimmy is taking aim at the commander-in-chief for his handling of the current crisis. Jimmy has called for justice for George Floyd and had a candid conversation about discrimination with Shaquille O'Neal.
The Late Late Show With James Corden
The conversation got very emotional when Late Late Show band leader Reggie Watts shared his personal experience with racism. James called for change in his adopted country of America.
Late Night With Seth Meyers
Rather than sharing his own thoughts, Seth turned over his monologue to one of his writers and frequent contributors, Amber Ruffin. Amber shared about her own experiences with police harassment. Seth has also hosted candid conversations with comedian Michael Che, and Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms.
Conan
Conan O'Brien refused to repeat, what he called, "the ritual" of late night hosts sharing their outrage over a national tragedy like a terrorist attack or a school shooting. Instead he invited on CNN contributor, Van Jones, to share his thoughts on the protests and police brutality.
