Hallmark Shows The Importance Of Work-Life Balance In 'The 27-Hour Day'
Take that break!

A work-life balance is a skill many people have yet to master.

In the new Hallmark Channel film, The 27-Hour Day, Andrew Walker and his co-star Autumn Reeser go on a journey of self-discovery.

Walker is a familiar face on Hallmark, but this time, the important message of mental health struck a nerve.

"That's what drew me to the film. This is something outside the box. It's just this story that I haven't seen Hallmark tell before," Walker said.

The actor plays the owner of a resort that aims to help people who are stressed in their daily lives. Autumn Reeser's character checks into the resort for much-needed break.

"I push her character to, you know, just to relax and let things flow a little bit more and just have trust and faith in the fact that things will really work out. She pushes my character to take the bull by the horns to kind of have a little more initiative."

Walker says these movies are "self-reflective" and include many important lessons.

"I left with a lot of answered questions and just some clarity and some point of view on my life."

The 27-Hour Day premieres Saturday, August 7th, on Hallmark Channel.
