Following SNL's announcement of Musk as next host, the famous CEO has received negative comments including from some cast members such as Chris Redd. On May 1st, Redd had replied to a tweet from Musk: "throwing out some skit ideas for SNL. What should I do'?"
First I’d call Em sketches 😂 https://t.co/37liDrKYjo— Chris Redd (@Chris Redd) 1619920512
Redd embraced the opportunity to sarcastically reply: "first I'd call em sketches." Bowen Yang had also replied on Instagram to another statement from Musk: "Let's find out just how live Saturday Night Live really is." And Yang's comment was:
"What the f--- does that even mean?"
This is not the first time that Musk faces criticism. The billionaire had already been condemned for mocking people who put their gender pronouns in their bios, along with his anti-union beliefs and trolling online.
But others members of the show seem to defend his participation on SNL. On Late Night, Pete Davidson expressed his confusion about why people are "freaking out" over Musk being the next host.
