The first photo of Harry Styles and Florence Pugh in Olivia Wilde's upcoming film "Don't Worry Darling" is here!
Warner Bros. showed the first trailer for the New Line movie on CinemaCon, which isn't yet available to the public. The film stars Pugh as a housewife named Alice, living with her husband Jack (Styles), who's employed by an enigmatic operation known as the Victory project, which is expected to change the world as we know it.
In a photo Wilde shared on Instagram, Styles and Pugh hold each other in bed, with Harry looking distracted as Florence clutches his face.
"They're lying about everything," Pugh's character says in the trailer, per Vulture. "Everyone is acting like I'm crazy. And I'm not crazy!"
Wilde compared the film to "Inception," "The Matrix," and "The Truman Show." The movie will be her second directorial gig, following the 2019 coming of age comedy "Booksmart." The cast also includes Gemma Chan, KiKi Layne, Nick Kroll, and Chris Pine.
"I want you to imagine a life where you have everything you could want," Wilde spoke about the film. "Not just material things… but true love and friendship. What would it take for you to give up that perfect life? Are you willing to dismantle the system that's designed to serve the world?"
"Don't Worry Darling" will be available to watch in theaters on September 23, 2022.
