Good news for fans of Days of Our Lives! The soap opera just got renewed for a 57th and 58th season.
this is the first time since 2014 that the show renewed more than one season. it will tie loose ends that were left untied in the 56th season on April 16th.
The show stands as NBC's longest-running series.
"After more than 55 years of bringing drama, adventure and romance to screens around the world, we are thrilled and honored to carry on the Days of Our Lives legacy for another two years... We are thankful to NBC for their enduring commitment to the show and grateful to continue this wonderful journey with our fans for years to come," said Days executive producer Ken Corday.
The show's renewal has been imparted after a few years of trying to get it approved by Sony Pictures TV to make it as useful to the network as possible.
