On July 9th, a 6-year old boy from Wyoming named Bridger saved his little sister from a dog attack. Bridger was bit several times in the head and face but managed to grab his sisters hand and run away to safety. After the incident went viral on Instagram, Bridger received lots of celebrity attention, even from Captain America, himself.

Marvel star, aka "Captain America," Chris Evans was so moved by Bridger's act of heroism that he sent a special video to Bridger. Not only did Bridger get a video from the superhero, but Evans also promised to send him an official Captain America shield. When talking to Bridger, Evans said:
"Pal, you're a hero. What you did was so brave, so selfless, your sister is so lucky to have you as a big brother. Your parents must be so proud of you. I'm gonna track down your address and I'm gonna send you an authentic Captain America shield because pal, you deserve it."
In the original Instagram post that has garnered over a million likes in the past few days, Bridger said,
"If someone had to die, I thought it should be me."
Bridger has received over 90 stitches from his injuries and is recovering with his family in Wyoming.
