According to law enforcement officials, Springsteen was arrested on November 14th for DWI, reckless driving, and consuming alcohol in a closed area. He was picked up by law enforcement in Sandy Hook, New Jersey.

According to multiple sources, this arrest was the result of a tequila shot Springsteen shared with fans he ran into while in the area. The singer was cooperative with law enforcement and this appears to be the 71 year old's first encounter with police.

This news comes directly after Springsteen was featured in a Super Bowl ad for Jeep, which has been pulled as a result of this news.
