Former Blink-182 guitarist Tom DeLonge also acknowledged his one-time bandmate's condition on social media.
I too, have been aware of @markhoppus\u2019s cancer diagnosis for awhile now. And to add to his own words that he used today, I would also like to say that he is strong, and a super-human who is pushing through this difficult obstacle with a wide-open heart. #WeHaveHisBack— Tom DeLonge (@Tom DeLonge) 1624493028
Hoppus plans on returning to the stage once he has gone into remission. The type of cancer nor its stage was not disclosed.
Blink-182 shot into fame with their groundbreaking 1999 album "Enema of the State", which contained hit singles "All the Small things" and "What's My Age Again?." Hoppus remains the longest running member.
