The star appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to talk about her COVID quarantine, the inside of her upcoming documentary, and even teased a new album.

Eilish confided in Colbert about her quarantine, noting that it was the most time off she's had in over four years. The artist went on to say she also made an album during her COVID lockdown:

"I don't think I would've made the same album, or even the album at all, if it weren't for Covid. That doesn't mean it's about Covid at all, it's just that, when things are different in your life, you're different. That's just how it is. So, I have to thank Covid for that, and that's about it."

The singer's 2019 pop album 'WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP WHERE DO WE GO?' was widespread critically acclaimed, and catapulted the star into the spotlight.

The album won for the Grammy's Album of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album, and Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical, and the album's first number one song "Bad Guy" won for Record of the Year and Song of the Year. Eilish also won Best New Artist.

Eilish and Colbert spoke about the upcoming release of her documentary The World's a Little Blurry, which is available for streaming this Friday on Apple TV+. The filming of the documentary took place over the course of approximately three years, and follows the star through Grammy nominations, touring, and much more.

Billie shared:

"I think it's really important to know though as an audience member of a doc, this doc and every other doc, of just being very conscious of the fact that it's not everything, like you're seeing a sliver of my life at that time... But it's pretty much me."
