During the interview with Howard Stern, Billie Eilish had a minor cold that was nothing compared to what she experienced with COVID-19 this year. The singer shared the following:

"It was bad. I didn't die and I wasn't gonna die, but that does not take away from how miserable I was," Eilish said.

Although her side effects lasted for almost two months, Eilish wanted to clarify that it's thanks to the vaccine that she was able to recover:

"It is because of the vaccine that I'm fine. I think if I weren't vaccinated, I would've died because it was bad," Eilish said.

She then that the vaccines actually prevented his brother Finneas and the rest of her family and friends to catch it from her.

But this week has definitely been a dream for the singer, who hosted Saturday Night Live with hilarious sketches alongside top comedians such as Kate McKinnon.

Preparing for the show, however, was an incredibly stressful experience for Eilish, who confessed:

"I cried every single day of the week," Eilish said.

She then shared the most intense part of that week: the haunting table read.

"You do 20 scripts and then stop for a second, and then 20 more. In the break I cried and came back," Eilish said.

Crying was a way for the singer to release the fears associated with acting with such outstanding comedians...

"I didn't feel qualified," Eilish said.

...And that feeling resulted in Eilish throwing up on the plane. But all's well that ends well: as soon as she saw the audience, the singer was able to fully relax on stage and entertain everyone watching.

During the interview, however, something unexpected happened: Howard revealed that the two were nominated for a Golden Globe.

"That's so cool," Eilish said.

The singer then shared her love for Award shows, explaining that the live aspect makes it incredibly fun.

"I'm really glad that right now it's better and we can actually do Award shows," Eilish said.

Finally, Howard wondered if Eilish had ever felt worried about her sound being copied by other artists collaborating with Finneas.

“I feel that I know pretty well that he’s not going to go make my music with other people … because [he’d] better not," Eilish said.

Finneas also shared that because his sister's sound is completely her own, it is impossible to replicate it with someone else:

“I can’t go make her music with other people because she’s her music … If you took out the Billie ingredient, I couldn’t do that," Finneas said.
