From Marty's retro outfits to his hoverboard, read on to find out where Back to the Future's actual props are kept today.
Doc Brown's Robe

In honor of the movie's 35th anniversary, the Hollywood Museum opened a Back to the Future Trilogy exhibit in December of 2019. The exhibit features the real robe that Dr. Emmett Brown (Christopher Lloyd) wore in the first and third movie. Along with that, Marty's original western costume from part III and more replicas will be on display.
Gibson Memphis ES-345 Guitar
At the end of Back to the Future, we see Marty McFly play the guitar on stage at his parent's dance. The guitar used is a Gibson Memphis ES-354. According to Guitar World, the guitar was first released in 1958, three years after the scene which is set in 1955. It is unknown where the exact guitar is today, but according to Charitybuzz, a replica was signed by the cast and auctioned with proceeds going to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
Marty's Hoverboard

During a Profiles in History Icons & Legends of Hollywood auction, Marty McFly's hoverboard was sold. According to Bleeding Cool, the actual hoverboard that Michael J. Fox used in Back to the Future Part II was sold for $28,800 after a three-day auction. A Mattel replica of the hoverboard can be purchased today, and for a substantially lesser price.
Griff's Hoverboard
In contrast to Marty's bright pink hoverboard, bully Griff Tannen's dark and spiky hoverboard was also for sale. His board, with "PIT BULL" written on it was sold on eBay for $12,995 by cinemastuff818. This board was not used on camera, but was a prototype for the board seen on-screen.
The DeLorean
"Back to the Future" DeLorean
According to Discover Los Angeles, Doc's DeLorean DMC-12 time machine is kept on display at the Petersen Automotive Museum. In April of 2016, the car was unveiled in the museum after being gifted from Universal Studios Hollywood. The unveiling included a panel discussion with writers and creative directors of the movie along with the movie's car builders and technicians.
