Not Following Pops

Last night's episode began with Matt and his dad, Manny James', sit down. Matt revealed how his parents' had an effect on the way he sees romance, as his father left their family after the split.

Manny apologized for cheating on Matt's mom, Patty, stating nobody's perfect and Matt forgave him, revealing he hopes to build a relationship with him in the future.

Getting Down and Buttery

Matt and Michelle Young spent their date at a local spa in Pennsylvania, rubbed in butter and cuddled in a milk bath. Matt revealed the details of his conversation with his father to Michelle, promising he would never be the same man his father was.

Michelle then revealed,

"I do look at you as my person and as the person I want to spend the rest of my life with."

The two went on to spend the night together in the fantasy suite and Matt later told the cameras,

"She could be my wife."

In the Middle of Nowhere

Matt and Bri Springs began their intimate date "camping" in the woods. The two are not your outdoorsy type and concluded the night indoors.

Similar to Michelle, Matt brought up his dad talk with Bri to which Bri could 100% relate, having been raised by a single mother. Bri revealed to the cameras that,

"If Matt got down on one knee tonight, I would 1,000 percent say 'yes.'"

The two spent the night together in the fantasy suite and Matt told cameras,

"It's what I've been looking for and what I came here for. I can see a life with Bri after this."

Not the Most Romantic Pottery Moment

Rachael Kirkconnell was tense throughout her pottery making date with Matt, telling him that she was insecure about their relationship, due to his intimate acts with Bri and Michelle. Rachael sees Matt as her future husband telling him,

"If you had a ring in your pocket right now and pulled it out, I'd say 'yes.'"

Matt completely understood where Rachael was coming from and assured her that he was falling in love with her.

The Final Two Are Revealed

Unfortunately, the Bachelor Nation said goodbye to Bri at the rose ceremony. After giving his first rose to Michelle and his second to Rachael, Matt had a talk with Bri, while walking her to the car.

"It would've been easy if I could point to one thing and say that that's why. It's just a feeling that you have when you're with somebody and it's nothing to do with you and who you are, how incredible you are. It had everything to do with where my heart's leading."

Bri tells Matt it will be hard for her to get over this, but she knows that Matt has to follow where his heart is leading him.

Season Finale Coming Up Next Week

Next week Rachael and Michelle meet Matt's mother and brother for an intimate conversation with the ones who know Matt best. Towards the last half of the preview, Matt is distraught and unsure of whether to continue on his journey or stop for some mysterious reason.
