The iconic Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular featuring the legendary Rockettes has officially been cancelled for the 2020 holiday season.
MSG Entertainment announced that the Christmas Spectacular would follow the fate of Broadway and close for 2020 due to the pandemic. The Rockettes have been performing at the iconic venue since their conception in 1925 and have proved themselves a vital part of the holiday season in New York City.
MSG Entertainment addressed this tradition, saying:
"We are disappointed for everyone involved with the show, as well as for the many fans who make the Christmas Spectacular a cherished part of their holiday tradition."
As of now, plans to return in 2021 are continuing as usual. In the meantime, you can keep up with the Rockettes on their social media accounts.

Christmas in New York City is definitely going to look different this year, but fans look forward to the day Rockettes can kick line their way into our hearts again!
