Anna 'Delvey' Sorokin to Star in New Reality Series While Under House Arrest

Delvey's Dinner Club serves as a talk show featuring conversations with guests all filmed from Sorokin's Manhattan apartment.

Anna "Delvey" Sorokin spent three years in prison for larceny and theft. Now, she's hosting a new reality television series.

Colloquially known as a con-artist, Sorokin was sentenced to twelve years in prison after an ongoing scheme pretending to be a wealthy heiress among New York elite. She stole an estimated $275,000 from banks and friends to start the Anna Delvey Foundation, which would have been "a membership club experience...organized around a world-class contemporary art collection."

After being released from prison after just three years, Sorokin was detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement for overstaying her visa, as she is a German citizen. She's currently on house arrest in Manhattan awaiting an immigration trial, barred from joining social media per her court orders.

The new series, Delvey's Dinner Club, serves as a talk show featuring conversations with guests all filmed from Sorokin's apartment, while under house arrest. The producers say that those featured will be "a Delvey-invited group of actors, musicians, founders, socialites, journalists and other esteemed guests."

"Delvey" was the fake name under which Sorokin operated during her scams, according to authorities.

The guests and Sorokin will engage in "candid conversations where no topic is off-limits," which also includes "Anna's experience within the criminal justice system, and her strategy to rebuild her image and her plans for the future."

Sorokin was famously featured in the series documenting her crimes, Inventing Anna. Though she was played by Julia Garner, Sorokin reportedly received $320,000 for the series. She views Delvey's Dinner Club as her chance to rebrand herself through television.

"There's nothing like the experience of bringing together a curated group of friends to share life stories and enjoy a great culinary experience," Sorokin said via the press release. "I'm grateful for the opportunity... to bring my vision to a wider audience and share a glimpse of the real Anna Delvey."
