Adele Might Be Planning a Las Vegas Residency

Adele

Fans of Adele are already reeling over rumors of a potential new album. Now, the singer-songwriter is allegedly planning a Las Vegas residency.

Adele fans have been chasing pavements when it comes to a new album, but there may be a glimmer of hope.

Adele rose to fame when her debut album, 19, dropped back in 2008. It was at the 2009 Grammy Awards that the then 20-year-old singer-songwriter won Best New Artist and her career really started to take off. Now, the 33-year-old singer-songwriter has over a dozen Grammy awards under her belt and it has now been about 6 years since fans have heard new music from her. Naturally, they've been starving for any possible sign of new music. Well, lucky for them, Adele posted a twenty-second teaser of what seems to be an upcoming single.

The single entitled "Easy On Me" is set to be released Friday October 15th. The teaser quickly garnered millions of views across platforms including Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter. It will be her first official release since her third studio album 25 which holds the record for the fastest-selling album of all time with over 3 million copies sold in just one week.

But that's not the only thing that has fans speculating the release of Adele's fourth studio album. According to Billboard, the "Hello" singer is also planning a Las Vegas residency in 2022. Allegedly, she is currently choosing between The Park Theater at The Park MGM or The Colosseum at Caesar's Palace.

It is being reported that Adele's stay in Sin City would be an alternative to a potential world tour for her new album. Although a Las Vegas residency wouldn't earn Adele more money, sources claim that Adele would rather fans come to her. She prefers this because she would rather not be away from her son for such a long stretch of time on tour.

Either way, this rumor would solidify that there is indeed an upcoming album from Adele.

Other clues include teal billboards with the number 30 on them that have been popping up across the country. The teal backgrounds were tied back to Adele when she updated her profile photo across platforms to the same color. The 30 obviously represents her age which follows the pattern of albums being named after ages: 19, 21, 25.

It seems like all of these signs point to a new Adele album but we will just have to wait and see. Stay tuned for more information on Adele's fourth studio album and Las Vegas residency.
