Adele Announces Release Date For Highly Anticipated Album '30'

The time has finally come for Adele to announce the arrival of her fourth studio album.

On Wednesday morning, the legendary singer-songwriter took to social media to give the fans what they've been waiting for: an album announcement. The post garnered millions of likes across platforms immediately.

The post includes a profile shot of Adele in front of a dark teal background which fans speculate to be thealbum cover. Adele bares her soul in a message that accompanies the portrait. In the message she reveals the title of the album: 30. This title continues the theme of Adele's discography in which each album corresponds with the singer's age starting with her debut album, 19.

Her third studio album, 25, earned her 5 Grammy awards including but not limited to Album of The Year and Song of The Year for "Hello". These 5 awards account for one-third of the 15 total Grammy awards that she has received over the years. Since then, Adele has been silent when it comes to releasing new music. That is, until now. In the post Adele acknowledges the six year hiatus:

"I was certainly nowhere near where I'd hoped to be when I first started it nearly 3 years ago. Quite the opposite actually."

She continues:

"And so, I'm ready to finally put this album out. It was my ride or die throughout the most turbulent period of my life."

The "turbulence" in question is most likely in part due to her highly publicized divorce. This official album announcement comes after a teaser for a song called "Easy On Me" which is scheduled to release on Thursday October 14th at 7:00pm ET.

In the post, Adele revealed that the album itself is officially dropping on November 19th, so fans have about a month to prepare for what's to come.
