Sunday, January 9th, 2022, MJ Rodriguez made history!

Michaela Jaé, more commonly known as MJ, Rodriguez won the 2022 Golden Globe Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series in the Drama Genre. She won this award for her acting in the hit series 'Pose', which is available to stream on Netflix. Rodriguez is the first ever transgender actor to win a Golden Globe, and hopefully not the last.

This is also the first ever Golden Globe win for 'Pose', which was first released in 2018. There are three seasons of the hit show, which was created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk (the creators of 'American Horror Story'.)

Rodriguez took to social media to express her gratitude.
