Hailie Sahar On The Legacy Of 'Pose' & Elevating the Trans Community | Celebrity Page

The Emmy Award winning FX series, Pose, left behind a legacy that celebrated the trans and queer community. Hailie Sahar is determined to carry that legacy forward.

Pose debuted on FX in 2018 with a cast that also included Billy Porter and MJ Rodriguez. The storyline revolved around New York City's underground ball culture of the 1990's and featured the largest cast of trans actresses of any scripted TV series.

Hailie Sahar starred as "Lulu," one of the competing house mothers. Now that the series has wrapped, Hailie is focused on keeping the conversation about trans rights going, and setting an example for the next generation of trans women.

"Conversations need to continuously happen and it's something I'm very adamant on making sure I use my platform to do."

While Pose may have run it's finale, the actress is keeping busy with new music and a book in the works and appearances in the Freeform series, "Good Trouble." She is also set to star in and produce a biopic on activist Sir Lady Java.

You can still catch "Pose" which is available for streaming on Hulu...
