Since last March, fans of Broadway musicals and plays have been shutdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, there is a light at the end of the tunnel as the most iconic shows in the world announce a return date.
Along with the Hamiltonand Wicked, Disney's The Lion Kingwill return to Broadway on September 14th, 2021. Aladdin will return on September 28th. With the return announcement, the shows all collaborated on ticket sales and added benefits. Disney will pay for all ticketing fees accrued on Ticketmaster and will provide free ticket exchanges for different dates at no charge to the patron.

Good Morning America broke the news Tuesday morning and brought together the biggest stars on Broadway to provide more details about the return.
"After 18 months of being apart we are thrilled to welcome our audiences back and are proud to introduce these unique benefits to make buying Broadway tickets risk-free, flexible and affordable," said Thomas Schumacher President & Producer Disney Theatrical Productions. "Broadway's reopening – before tourists fully return – will be the perfect time for us tri-staters to attend Broadway as shows will be more accessible than ever."
Amid the return of Broadway, musicals and plays must abide by CDC and state/local guidelines as fans are welcomed back to the theater.
