What We're Watching For Wednesday, October 21st
Rebecca | Official Trailer | Netflix

How to stream Lily James and Armie Hammer's new movie.

I hope you took my advice and early voted yesterday, cuz today is a big 'sit on the couch', TV watching kind of night. We've got big network TV premieres, a big Netflix movie release, two big music award shows and a new season of David Letterman! Pop that popcorn, here's your hump day binge list...

Rebecca on Netflix

Back in 1941 the Oscar for Best Picture went to Alfred Hitchcock's film: Rebecca. Based on the best-selling, gothic novel by Daphne du Maurier, it starred Laurence Olivier and Joan Fontaine. Now, the film has been remade for a new generation with two of today's biggest stars: Lily James and Armie Hammer.

It's a perfect movie for the Halloween season, because it's a ghost story. But it's not a horror film. The title character, Rebecca, is Armie's dead first wife. After Armie gets re-married, to Lily, and brings her home...Lily is then haunted and tormented by Rebecca.

The film co-stars Oscar-nominee Kristin Scott Thomas and Emmy-winner Ann Dowd (Aunt Lydia from A Handmaid's Tale).

Be sure to tune in to Advocate Channel this weekend, for our brand new interviews with Lily, Armie, Kiristin and Ann.
