James Marsden accompanied "Westworld" star Evan Rachel Wood and co-creator Lisa Joy on the second day of the ATX Festival to discuss season four of the HBO series.
In the panel discussion, Marsden confirmed that he will be starring in the new season but not as Teddy Flood, who he played in seasons one and two.
Instead, he will be taking on a mysterious new character who goes on a date with Christina, another newcomer played by Evan Rachel Wood.
During the discussion, Joy confirmed that Dolores is, in fact, dead.
"I really like Evan and she's also kind of clinging, so I had to bring her back," she said.
"Westworld" is infamous for killing off characters and then bringing them back to life.
"Sometimes, you have to go away to come back," Marsden said. "We learn to speak cryptically on this show. This has been seven years of our show and yeah, it's an amazing thing to be a part of and see where the story goes. From the beginning, I didn't know where it was all gonna go, but I'm glad to see it now."
According to IndieWire, season four will take place seven years after the events of season three.
To find out what happens, watch "Westworld," season four, premiering June 26 on HBO.
