Ty Pennington is returning to TV on all new show.
Best known for Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, the popular TV host is now taking on a new fixer-upper series: Ty Breaker.
Exclusively chatting with Advocate Channel, Pennington opened up as to what fans can expect in the brand new HGTV show:
"If you're expecting me to be screaming and yelling a lot, you will not get that on this show. What I love is being back in my element and sort of helping people decide whether they're going to stay in the place they are and fix that up, or move to a whole new place."
In the show, the home-renovator competes against fellow HGTV stars, as Alison Victoria, Grace Mitchell or Sabrina Soto try to convince people to move into new homes. He said:
"Me and my co-hosts... we really take on this project, and so, it gets pretty competitive... but once we figure out what needs to be done, we team up. Sometimes it goes well, and sometimes, it doesn't. And that makes for good TV."
Fans are more than excited to watch Pennington do what he does best. The TV star looked back on his experience on screen and what he hopes is next:
"My fifteen minutes turned into fifteen years. Who knew? It's pretty humbling. It's pretty amazing to see."
Catch the premiere of Ty Breaker tonight on HGTV.
