Jack Dorsey Donates Amid Second Week of #BlackLivesMatter Protests

As the U.S. enters its second week of #BlackLivesMatter protests inspired by the deaths of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, and Breonna Taylor, Jack Dorsey directed his attention toward the current situation and donated a portion of his $1 billion pledge to Small Grants Fund towards Colin Kaepernick's Know Your Rights Camp organization. With the help of donations, Kaepernick's campaign funds black and brown communities all over the U.S. who have little to no access to education, legal resources, support for self-empowerment, and more. There are Know Your Rights Camps in cities across the nation, including one in Europe:

• Miami, Florida
• New Orleans, Louisiana
• Amsterdam, The Netherlands
• Chicago, Illinois
• New York, New York
• Oakland, California

Know Your Rights Camp and Its Mission for People of Color During Covid-19

During the Covid-19 pandemic, black and brown communities across the country are disproportionately suffering from the virus more than the rest of the American population. In a video posted on the Know Your Rights Camp website, the organization highlights the issues black and brown communities are facing due to the coronavirus pandemic by using news clips, testimonials, and statistics.
