Jason Sudeikis is Ted Lasso, a Southern football coach shipped to England to coach in a private soccer league, despite having no experience in the British meaning of "football." The show revives a character created by Sudeikis for NBC Sports Network in 2013.

The first three episodes drop on Apple TV+ on August 14th, with subsequent episodes premiering every Friday on the streaming service.
