The Bachelor
The bachelor franchise has brought us lots of glorious drama this year, so let's start from the beginning with Peter Weber. Ah yes, remember him? Pilot Pete kicked off 2020 with some roses in hand and a few bad decisions ahead. It's difficult to pinpoint one dramatic moment from this season, so let's just discuss the whole damn thing. From his proposal to Hannah Anne Sluss, to breaking up with her on camera, to then confessing his love for runner-up Madison Prewett, only for that to end a few days after the finale... Pete sure did a number on us. But don't worry guys--all is well now, and Barb is finally happy! Peter is now dating her (said to be) favorite contestant from the show, Kelley Flanagan.
Before we move on, let's all just reflect back on one of Barb's best moments, aka what made her a star. Enjoy this throwback clip, when she passionately told Peter to "Bring her home to us!!" Gotta love her!
The Bachelorette
Okay, on to The Bachelorette.
This past season had lots of drama, but perhaps nothing was as noteworthy as the bachelorette literally leaving the show. After a few weeks, Clare Crawley found the "man of her dreams" and decided to leave the show with her (sort-of) fiance Dale Moss. I say "sort-of" because the idea of an engagement seemed to be forced upon him. (This is The bachelorette, after all.) Anyway, the two are happy now, so good on them! Tayshia came in to replace Clare, and all was well in the bachelor world once again.
Keeping Up with The Kardashians
It's impossible to do a reality TV post without discussing the Kardashians, or as Cosmo once called them, "America's First Family." (Anyone remember that gem of a cover?) 'Keeping Up' will finish off in 2021, so naturally, the fam is going out with a bang.
As they say, the devil works hard, but Kris Jenner works harder...and she gave us the drama we needed in order to get through quarantine. Kim, Kourtney and Khloe all had their fair share of arguments this season, but one definitely takes the cake. Kourtney and Kim's disagreement turns physical, and well, I wish I could say it wasn't interesting to look at.
Real Housewives
The final two stops on our tour will be Bravo shows, of course. First up... The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Obviously, that means we're talking about the Denise and Brandi drama because, well, did anything else even happen this season? After countless she said-she said arguments, some anti-climatic text messages, and quite a few tears, the jury has come to the conclusion that Denise might have slept with Brandi. But let's rewind to watch where the drama all began... with Brandi's "secret."
And to finish this all off, did you really think we'd forget about the fight of the year, or maybe decade? This argument between Candiace Dillard and Monique Samuels on The Real Housewives of Potomac will definitely go down in Housewife history... right next to the table flip. Bravo hasn't added the footage to YouTube, so enjoy this BTS clip from a fan.
