The legendary quarterback Tom Brady turns 44 today.
For his birthday present, Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach Bruce Arians decided to give Brady a day off from practice. Originally, it was unknown whether or not the hard working Brady would actually accept the offer. However, he reportedly showed up to practice, but is not participating in team drills.
"It's amazing the fire that burns in him that makes him do this," Arians said. "There's nobody out there competing any harder than him. Yeah, it's awesome. We'll throw him a bone and give him a day off.

Brady has been in the NFL for 22 seasons, and is expected to perform for at least two more years. In his career, he has achieved seven Superbowl rings with the New England Patriots before being transferred to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020.
In July, it was revealed that Brady tore his MCL and needed surgery, yet appears to be thriving today.
Brady is considered by many to be one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time.
