Dolly Parton Debuts New Netflix Special!

8061 The Dish

To kick thing's off for today's Dish with Sonia Isabelle, let's take a look at Dolly Parton and her MusiCares Person of the Year concert.

Dolly Gets Honored

Back in 2019, MusiCares honored Dolly with their Person of the Year award, and a concert was held in her honor. The event was taped and is finally making its way onto Netflix for audiences to enjoy the slew of live performances that honored the Queen.

In addition to goddaughter Miley Cyrus and Shawn Mendes, performers included Katy Perry, Willie Nelson, Kacey Musgraves, Brandi Carlile, Jennifer Nettles, Yolanda Adams, Leon Bridges, Chris Stapleton and Little Big Town.

"The thing about Dolly is, she transcends everything, so transcends Nashville, LA, New York, America, the globe", said country star Garth Brooks at the event.

You can catch Dolly and co. on Netflix April 7th!

New ABC Shows

in 2001, Julia Roberts won an Oscar for playing real life activist Erin Brockovich in a film of the same name.

Now, Katie Segal is taking a swing at the character, with her role in the new drama Rebel on ABC, co-starring with John Corbett and Andy Garcia.

Rebel debuts Thursday, April 8th!

And the day before, Topher Grace debuts his new comedy, Home Economics, about three siblings in massively different tax brackets.

That's it for today's Dish, but keep an eye out for all this exciting content!
