'The Talk' Returns Monday With Their First Episode Since Sharon Osborne's Departure

CBS's daytime roundtable show The Talkis coming back with its first episode since Sharon Osbourne's wave of controversy surrounding racially insensitive comments. Their return surrounds, fittingly enough, race and healing.

Sheryl Underwood, Carrie Ann Inaba, Amanda Kloots, and Elaine Welteroth are returning without Osbourne, who left the show after Osbourne defended her friend Piers Morgan over racism accusations.

CBS stated that Osbourne made the decision to leave the show two days after her outburst on March 10th, and put the show on hiatus for a month.

The latest episode of The Talk will feature Dr. Donald E. Grant, a psychologist and socio-cultural analyst who specializes in justice, equity, and inclusion.

There will also be an appearance by Dr. Anita Phillips, a trauma therapist and life coach who will offer advice to the show's hosts on how to recover from a traumatic experience.

Osbourne, a former music manager and wife to Ozzy Osbourne, rose to fame of her own on the MTV reality series Meet the Osbournes, and has since gone on to judge in several reality competition shows and daytime television. Whether her outburst will have any lasting effect on her career remains to be seen, but for now, The Talk goes on without her.
