The release of Tenet is expected to be instrumental in the re-opening for movie theaters around the world. The buildup of the film is causing many moviegoers to reevaluate their caution about going to the theater.
Cinemas in the UK were allowed to reopen from July 4, but many theatres chose to push back their reopening. Warner Bros.' decision in late July to launch Tenet in 70 overseas territories from August 26 ahead of the U.S., as reported exclusively by Variety, has been welcomed by global cinema operators.
Tenet is set to be released in select U.S cities on September 3.
