Darth Maul

Within the comic expansions of the Star Wars universe, Darth Maul actually survived the fall he suffered after killing Qui Gon Jinn. This was later added into the official canon at the end of Solo: A Star Wars Story. So why not keep running with it? What did Darth Maul do all those years between his fall and Solo? Did he go back to Dathomir? Remain in the Separatists in hiding? We need to know!

This fan film got 29 million views. The fans want more Maul, and they want it now.

Chewbacca

A longtime fan favorite and the single most consistent character in all of Star Wars, we know almost nothing about Chewbacca. The story of the Wookies and the Empire's colonization of Kashyyyk is fruit ripe for the picking. It's been utilized in the comics, the games, so why not the actual canon?

The story of Kashyyyk draws deep parallels to real life, to exploitation and imperialism that has been key to Star Wars since its inception.

Commander Cody

Commander Cody often seemed to have a good deal of agency, yet followed Order 66 ruthlessly, without hesitation, striking down Obi Wan's weird lizard thing into the water.

What is his history? As a Commander in the Clone Armies, Commander Cody has touched massive parts of history in the Clone Wars we probably never got to see. So, let's see it.

Qui Gon Jinn

Qui Gon Jinn was a legendary Jedi. His appearance in The Phantom Menace doesn't really do it justice. He was actually the Jedi that discovered how to connect to the force after death and remain as a spirit entity. Not Yoda, not Luke, it was him. A series exploring his journey through the force would give us an intimate look at both Qui Gon himself and the spiritual side of being a Jedi.

Darth Plagueis

You have never thought about it, but Palpatine had a master, and he was alive during The Phantom Menace. Darth Plagueis was the mastermind of the Sith for years, keeping them in the shadows while he funded the Separatist movement and seeded distrust in the Jedi, leaving Palpatine with the perfect opportunity to strike.

Of course, Palpatine murdered him, but that's how it goes when you're super evil.

Looking intimately at his plotting and calculations, and pursuit to keep hidden, would be an incredible series,

Mace Windu

A look at Mace Windu's journey to being the greatest duelist who ever lived would be something to behold. Mace is a deeply unique Jedi who alternates between the light and dark sides of the force for his lightsaber combat. He's crazy cool, and we need a look at him that's more than a supporting character. There is a fascinating life to unpack.

The Inquisitors

If you've played Jedi: Fallen Order, you know all about the Inquisitors. Former Jedi who were hunted down by Darth Vader, and rather than killed, they were tortured and broken into serving the dark side of the force.

The full nine are slowly being revealed as we go further and further into Star Wars lore, but there's a lot of holes. Where are the other six? Where do they come from? Where are they during the events of the original trilogy?

Jar Jar Binks

Justice for Jar Jar!

He always felt out of place, unnecessary, a distraction, even in the Clone Wars cartoons. It just felt like the makers of the prequels looked at Lord of the Ringsand said "we can make a weird skinny CGI person too!" and it didn't work. But he deserves redemption.

A closer look at the outcast who turned into the personal assistant of Padme Amidala would be a fun, goofy look into the life of one of the saddest martyrs of the Star Wars Universe.

Jabba the Hutt

Not Jabba himself, but a look further inside the world of the crime boss would be incredible. There could be a crime series within Star Wars. How cool would that be? Or maybe a look at a bounty hunter who defects from the control of the Hutt family. The possibilities are endless, and it would give us a more intimate look at Tattooine.

Lord Hoth

Lord Hoth is a non canonical figure in the comics of Star Wars history. He was the leader of the Army of Light, an entire Army of Jedi who fought back against the Brotherhood of Darkness, a legion of Sith who nearly brought the Galactic Republic to its knees. The Brotherhood of Darkness' defeat is what set in motion the planning of Sith like Darth Plagueis and the eventual collapse of the Republic.
