Simone Biles Wins U.S. Women's Gymnastics Championship

At the U.S. Gymnastics Championship Sunday in Fort Worth, Texas, Simone Biles made history by winning her seventh women's all-around title.

Biles secured her first place position finishing first on the vault, balance beam, and floor exercise, which left her with a total score of 119.650. Followed by Sunisa Lee, who won the uneven bars, and finished with a score of 114.950.

One the first day, Biles had a rough start by stepping out of bounds three times during her floor routine, but was able to make up for her mistakes and redeemed herself on the second day by only going out of bounds once.

"It's so crazy because in training I never go out of bounds, and I never have this much power," Biles explained. "But with the adrenaline, that's where it comes."

Biles will compete at the United States Olympic Trials later this month where she is expected to lock in her place on the Olympic team for the games in Tokyo this summer.
