The very private couple does not often take to social media for announcements or drama that may surround their relationship online and the lack of confirmation of the pregnancy really proves that. Johansson and Jost do not feel the need to display their relationship online no matter how much fans want them to.

The pregnancy rumors first arose when Johansson was noticeably missing from many Marvel press events for Black Widow and every picture of her seemed to be from her belly up. She even appeared on talk shows over Zoom with the camera catching her shoulders and above.

The pregnancy was confirmed last week when Jost performed stand-up sets at Ridgefield Playhouse in Connecticut. The news first broke when an audience member reached out to Page Six, however the venue eventually confirmed this as well which made the news all the more reliable.

The couple has always been known to be private since the very beginning of their relationship. They were married at an intimate ceremony in October 2020 and Johansson was seen wearing her engagement ring for the first time at a San Diego Comic-Con event.

Johansson is a mother to her six-year-old daughter Rose already, however this new baby is Jost's first. Jost just announced on Instagram that the baby is named Cosmo, confirming that Scarlett gave birth to a little boy!
