Oscar-winning director Ron Howard's newest documentary tells the story of the most destructive wildfire in the town of Paradise, California's history. Howard says:
"I think that the residents began to understand that we were telling a different story."
Howard and his crew documented a year spent with Paradise residents showing their attempt to recover what was lost in the fires. In 2018 a devastating firestorm engulfed the town of Paradise, the residents worked together to heal from this tragedy.
The documentary debuted earlier this year at the Sundance film festival. It depicts the painful reality of life in Paradise, California.
