Calling all indie music fans! REELZ is bringing you an all new music competition, where bands showcase their music videos on TV.
Every week on REELZ, Indie Music Battle will feature ten music videos per night, resulting in 50 videos shown a week. You get to be the judge and decide which videos are worthy to making it to the top ten!
Here's what the top three from the first week had to say.
Ashley Wineland - Top Three 👢
Coming in at third place for the first week is Ashley Wineland!
The singer cracked the top three with her country song, "She's Gone." Talking with Wineland on the honor, she said,
"To be placed third the very first week of the show... I was very humbled, very excited. Especially since top ten gets to roll on into the next week, I'm very excited to be up and at it again," Wineland said.
Kerosene Drifters - Runner-Up 🐰
Taking second place is husband and wife duo, Kerosene Drifters!
This duo shook up the rankings with their rock song, "Barb's Wired." The couple shared their thoughts on the rock anthem's music video...
"We wanted to do a video that would stand out , because the song is fun and like a country punk, whatever that means," the duo said.
Fire Sets Fire - Top Pick 🔥
Drum roll please... Fire Sets Fire takes the crown with their song "Faster!"
Bringing in the most amount of votes, Fire Sets Fire topped the charts for the first week. Looking back on the music video, the bandmates said,
"It's a throwback 50's vibe, it's old cars. We were just kind of exhanging ideas. We want everybody to tune in and watch and vote! We want to thank everybody who voted for us."
We can't wait to see who makes it to number one next! Catch Indie Music Battle late nights on REELZ.
