Prince Philip Released From The Hospital

Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, has been released from St Bartholomew's Hospital in London after spending a month there for a heart condition.

The Prince has now returned to Windsor Castle, according to a statement from Buckingham Palace.

Philip was first admitted on February 16th for an unidentified illness, which lead to heart surgery last week that he's spent the last week recovering from. That disease, whatever it may be, was not COVID-19, as he and the Queen have both received their first dose of the vaccine.

The Prince, who will be 100 in June, has lived a quiet life since withdrawing from the public eye in 2017. Both he and the Queen have spent much of the pandemic at Windsor Castle, something that figures to remain the same in the coming months.
